Does Kroger Take Apple Pay? Here’s What We Know

Kroger does not accept Apple Pay at any of its locations as of 2022. The Kroger Pay app can be downloaded on an iPhone to pay wirelessly at self-checkouts and registers. Kroger only accepts cash, checks, debit, credit, and American Express cards as forms of payment.

Kroger experimented with NFC technology in 2020. A number of other digital wallets, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, were planned for inclusion. However, Apple Pay is not currently supported.
